An exploration of the macrocosm and microcosm through alchemical interactions.

I am curious about the way we have created mythologies around the planetary bodies and ascribe personality and meaning to them. This work examines the relationships between the human body, metallic elements and the planets of our solar system. The seven classical planets (including the sun and the moon) are represented in their corresponding metallic forms along with fluids found within the human body, such as saline, blood, acids and water. The large objects take the shape of the crystalline structures, with face-centred cubic structure being the basis of both lead and gold.
